Shopify @BeautyCon

Shopify partnered with Beautycon Festival LA 2019 to launch #iAlso, a first-of-its-kind program that empowered business owners with the education and tools to start, scale and grow their beauty and wellness brands.  The main focus of content creation for this event was to discreetly capture organic, authentic interactions and feature keynote speakers along with the event's branded footprint.  Delivery of final edits took place real-time during the event in partnership with Shopify's social media team to support live tweeting.

The Farmacy Grand Opening

The Farmacy in Santa Barbara opened it's doors for the first time with the support of the local Chamber of Commerce.  This grand opening was groundbreaking in that this was the first adult recreational use cannabis retail location of it's kind to open in the county.  Guests were invited to roam about outside of the storefront while they enjoyed live music and educational demo sessions with various brands.  Inside, age verified attendees browsed the newest licensed products available for sale.  Content offered a peek into the customer experience as an attendee and a shopper, with a specific focus on the event's sponsored brands.

Mecca Candle Co.

Mecca Hayes of Mecca Candle Co. hosted a hands-on candle making workshop in Hollywood in preparation for her company's national wholesale launch.  The goal of the workshop was to create brand awareness and provide education on the importance of paraben-free soy wax and natural oils being used in scented candles.  Photography was shot live from the viewpoint of an attendee.  Content was used for social media as well as wholesale info decks.
